Yay, The Post Is On Time! 4/26

On Wednesday we got an FTF over behind the Fred Meyer in Puyallup. We signed the logbook just 13 minutes after publishing, woohoo! Nothing happened again until Saturday, when we atttended two CITOs (Jenkins Creek Park in Covington, and Lake Desire-Spring Lake in the Renton Highlands) and found a few caches during and after the events. After the Renton Highlands CITO we went and found some nearby caches with MrsShock, Tobias and Petronella, The Jester, and Blooming Idiot. At the Covington CITO, we rid a little lake/pond of crud such as shopping carts, chairs, mattresses, coolers, all the usual junk. On our way home we stopped at the Auburn Mall, and as luck would have it, one was published 12 miles from our house (which is actually more like 3 or 4 miles from the mall), so we went over to find it and were FTF. Terrible T's showed up a bit too late followed by rmnrm and the cache owners. After the find we went over with rmnrm to look for another one, but we have a feeling it had been muggled. On Sunday I finally got out another GWS (Geowoodstock Series) cache. It's probably one of the easiest puzzles you will ever be given by me. However, the cache itself is a bit of a challenge. Fortunately for FugeFinders, they finally got an FTF on one of our caches, and on his first day back from Everett! Another Belated Post- 4/21

Another belated post, darn. Not much happened this past week (since Thursday). We raced out for a possible FTF on South Hill, only to show up behind kristaxc (who got the FTF) and krklnmn. On Saturday, we went out to Spanaway then up to Renton for some caching. We went to Spanaway first so we could look for a cache that hadn't been found yet (GC26RHY Look at the size of that thing...), and luck was on our side, as we got the FTF (see log for actual details http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=51d5f41b-8c0a-4e61-9121-e1c066ee7436 ). Then we went over to Spanaway Park and found a couple of caches by Sir Sock Puppet. After finding those we headed up to Renton to work on the Know Your Local Cacher Challenge. We got a letterbox and a multi by mc3cats, but had to stop caching because we ran out of time. That's about it for this week. I'll try to get a post in on Monday next time, I promise : )

Belated Weekly Post- 4/14

Well, this is two days late, but who cares? To start off the new week of caching, we found FugeFinder's new multi-cache after school (it was published right when school started)-- dang it Tom! :D On Friday, dad got a Co-FTF with rodgowdy in Federal Way on his way to work. It was our first FTF on a multi. We also got some much needed help on a few puzzles. Then on Saturday we went up to the Renton area to go to Frys and do some caching. On the way up we stopped at our rock wall cache in Kent. We were going to replace the container since it had rusted shut, but we decided to archive it since there was some family un-friendly items in the rock wall. After that we ended up finding three caches in Renton (one was a fake sprinkler!) and then heading home to watch the daffodil parade. We contacted FugeFinders while at the parade and arranged to go look for First City Want Ads once the parade was over. We got there before they arrived and found it before they arrived, and I had some fun messing with them (hehe). But, they eventually got it with our help. On Sunday we went up to see the tulips in Mt. Vernon. We ended up getting caches in three new counties (Skagit, Island, Whatcom) to help us with the County Challenge. Lastly, yesterday we got two FTFs. One was another that dad got on the way to work, and the other posted right as we finished dinner, so we headed out and got a Co-FTF with nstarbill.
