Yeah! FTF!

We just got back from a FTF run over at Seibenthaler Park in Sumner. The cache was a puzzle by FugeFinders. We headed over to the park, figuring out the puzzle along the way. Once there we noticed the CO's. We got a little help on the puzzle and started looking for the cache. Found it after a while, but we misread the hint and it was dark out, so that probably didn't help. When this was published, I had something that I was doing at that time, and got back and realized it had been published about 45 minutes earlier. What's even worse is that the listed coords are only 0.8 miles from our house!!!! We figured someone would have already found it, but nobody had. So, yay. FTF. Thanks FugeFinders!

Yesterday was a great caching day. We went over to DuPont to get a 13 cache day for the Baker's Dozen Challenge. We found 12 (found another one later), including 2 mysteries, a multi, and 9 traditionals. We found the entire DEATH STAR series, and got a multi and mystery by ohjoy!. Now we get to add her to our Know Your Local Cacher Bookmark. We didn't have any DNFs, although we were close :-). There are a lot of nice trails in DuPont, not to mention that with our 12 finds, we didn't even make a dent in the area. We highly recommend DuPont to any cacher who is in the mood for a ton of finds. There weren't any new caches published later, so we had to find one more cache (locally) for our 13 cache day to be complete. We ended up finding Weekend In Bonney Lake, which had eluded us many times before.

New Multi

Our new multi cache was finally published at 12:24 this morning. Since it's Wednesday, I'm figuring out more puzzle caches for us to go find. Since yesterday, we've got three new puzzles figured out. Working on another this morning.

New Multi Cache

ANOTHER UPDATE:

I just re-submitted our new multi for approval, so it should be a matter of time before it is published. FTF hounds, get ready!

UPDATE:

OK, we got an email from Rock Rabbit earlier today informing us about the status of our soon-to-be-published multi. We just had to change something on the cache page, and then re-submit it for approval. Since it is relatively late now, we will wait until tomorrow to re-submit it. It should be up later than 2:30 p.m., no earlier, so you FTF hounds, plan accordingly. We also figured out the GC#. It is GC240D5. The name of it is Cache Us If You Can #1. The significance of this multi applies only to those who enjoy challenge caches, particularly the Know Your Local Cacher Challenge. With this hide, we have three different types of hides out (Traditional, Mystery, Multi). So, we can now be officially 'known'.

FTF Opportunities

We had a shot at two FTFs tonight. One was up in Auburn on the Interurban Trail, which we ended up being STF on behind Tobias and Petronella. As we were leaving we realized that one had been published in Puyallup. We figured we had a shot, but once we got there we noticed FugeFinders. Darn, they had beaten us. Oh well, 0 for 2 isn't so bad.

Today's Caching Expedition

Today we found three caches that were previously DNF's. (CoinEx, Mind Your Manors, Between a Rock)

New Multi Cache

We placed our new multi cache today. It has three WPs and a final. It should be relatively easy. Along the way we saw a lone bald eagle in the fields next to the Foothills Trail. If anyone sees other interesting wildlife while on the hunt, please post pictures, they are always encouraged (as long as they aren't spoilers).

Enabled The 4th Corner

We finally put out the replacement container to our cache, The 4th Corner. It is now open for anyone to get, so go and find it!

New Multi-Cache

We just went out today to find spots for a soon-to-be multi cache in the Puyallup/Orting area. Keep posted, it should be up around or before next weekend.
