It's been about a month since my last, post, so I have a bunch to talk about. In no particular order...
We finally got our last Baker's Dozen Challenge day finished, and will go for the final this Saturday.
We went to Niagara Falls to visit family. We got our very first (four actually) earthcaches at Niagara Falls, and introduced family members to geocaching. We got at least one find in NY and Canada, so we now have finds in WA, OR, NY, and Ontario, CA. We put out our first cache in over a month, which was a puzzle about March Madness (NCAA Basketball Tournament). JimmyM and sciuchetti got Co-FTF on that one. We attended our very first CITO event up at Cougar Mountain. hydnsek was the "owner" of the event, and one of her events was another milestone for us. We have logged a couple of her events as our 150th and 500th find. Yay! I got to work with the Jester planting trees, and we found a 4 difficulty cache very near the parking lot. We plan on getting to 550 by the end of the month so we can have at least 600 by the one year anniversary of when we started caching. Since my last post, we've gotten three FTFs [lame : (]. One in Auburn where we just beat Tom (FugeFinders), one that FugeFinders hid, and one hidden by 2bugs up at Pierce College in Puyallup. As of now we are four FTFs behind our caching frienemies, the FugeFinders, but that is sure to change sometime soon : ).
I'm going to try to make this a weekly thing. I'll post on either Sunday night or Monday after school and recap the caching week. Until next time...

It was nice to see you guys today! Glad the blog is seeing some life after your trip.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get plenty of opportunities to beat me to caches this coming month since I'll be in Everett for three weeks. :P Not to mention all the days in a row you get to not sleep this next week. :)
We look forward to your weekly posts (I know you've been watching mine pretty intently! :D)
