Weekly Post 4/5
OK, so this week was my spring break. It turned out to be one of our best weeks of caching ever (including Saturday and Sunday). On Monday we called up our caching buds the FugeFinders to go look for one that hadn't been found up in Federal Way/Commencement Bay (Tacoma). We were unknowingly following him up there and we ended up getting duped out of a FTF due to our lack of observation. We showed up just a bit too late, but got to run into a new cacher, plus see some old friends. On the 30th, which was a Tuesday, we got 12 finds up in Buckley/Enumclaw. We finally found the Bacon Factor 2 - Celebrity 911, which I had figured out a few weeks prior (it is a puzzle). We also finally got zntargvp meets Evil (C)ammo, which had eluded us many times. We even found the right log (thanks, FF!). We redeemed a few more DNFs (Arbor Cache, by road trip and YA WANT 23 FRYS WITH THAT?, by fozroc). We found the latter on our way home at a stop for lunch. Unfortunately, our main purpose of the trip up there was to find First City Want Ads, which we failed at [it started to rain : (]. On Wednesday, we went up to the South Hill and found Salt:Checkmate, and Pepper, which are both puzzles that gave me trouble. We owe half the credit to FugeFinders (again, thanks for the help). Earlier that morning we got a Co-FTF with Crystlcryptr and who else, FugeFinders. It was also up near the YMCA of Puyallup. Not much happened after those two days, although we did get 3 more FTFs (one a puzzle by FF, one we beat FF to by about 2 minutes up in Clarks Creek Park in Puyallup, and one up north of the airport where we got a Co-FTF w/ FunnyNose and sciuchetti). We ran into a bunch of cachers over break. frisbee'r twice (once at Flux Capacitor Travel Hub, the other on the way back from FFs new multi), Crystlcryptr several times, timmayvsjimmay, sproutter, NWCREW, HoppingCrow, and probably several others. OVER BREAK, WE GOT A TOTAL OF 37 FINDS, WHICH IS OUR HIGHEST TOTAL IN ONE WEEK. I can sense that there is some stuff that I am missing, but for now, I'm not going to catch it. Until next week...
